About the role
We are looking for a Store Executive / Store Trainee to join the Stores Department at our Chalisgaon plant. The candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day store operations, material handling, inventory management and maintaining proper records of materials.
Candidates with exposure to packaging materials and store operations will be preferred.
What you'll do
- Key Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day stores and warehouse operations.
- Receive, verify and maintain incoming materials as per required quantity and specifications.
- Maintain proper stock records and inventory records.
- Handle material inward and outward activities.
- Maintain and organize materials in designated storage locations.
- Maintain records of packaging materials and other store items.
- Coordinate with purchase, production and other departments for material requirements.
- Assist in stock verification and physical inventory activities.
- Ensure proper identification, storage and handling of materials.
- Prepare and maintain store-related documentation and reports.
- Follow proper FIFO/stock rotation practices wherever applicable.
- Ensure housekeeping and safety standards are maintained within the stores area.
- Support the team in maintaining accurate inventory and minimizing material discrepancies.
What we're looking for
- Candidate Profile
- Education: B.Com / B.Sc / B.S. / Diploma holders.
- Experience: Freshers to 2 years in Stores, Warehouse or Inventory operations.
- Candidates having knowledge of packaging materials will be preferred.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and material handling.
- Basic computer knowledge and MS Excel skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work at the Chalisgaon plant.
- Candidates from manufacturing/industrial backgrounds will be preferred.
